Design. Build. Install. Support. — Enviro Care Engineers, Coimbatore
Enviro Care Engineers, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is one of India's leading manufacturers of electric crematoriums. With more than 17 years of specialised experience in electric crematorium design, manufacturing, and installation, we have built a reputation for delivering systems that are energy efficient, technically reliable, and built to last — serving municipal corporations, charitable trusts, and community institutions across South India.
Our electric crematoriums are trusted by some of the region's most significant civic institutions, including Kannur Municipal Corporation, Trichy Municipal Corporation, and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation. We bring the same standard of engineering precision and after-sales commitment to every installation we undertake — regardless of scale.
What is an Electric Crematorium
An electric crematorium uses high-temperature electric heating coils to generate the intense heat required for cremation, rather than a gas or wood-based fuel source. The closed combustion process takes place entirely within a sealed double-chamber furnace, making electric cremation one of the cleanest, most controllable, and most consistent cremation methods available.
Electric crematoriums are particularly well suited to urban environments where air quality compliance is a priority, locations with reliable electrical supply infrastructure, and institutions that require a fully controllable, low-maintenance cremation system with minimal operator intervention during the cremation cycle.
Electric Crematorium Equipment We Manufacture and Supply
Enviro Care Engineers manufactures, supplies, and installs the complete range of equipment required for a fully operational electric crematorium. Every component is produced at our Coimbatore facility to consistent quality standards, with full on-site installation and commissioning support.
Our electric crematorium supply scope covers the double-chamber electric cremation furnace with primary and secondary combustion chambers, constructed using high-quality refractory bricks, linings, and castables for maximum thermal efficiency and long furnace life. The furnace is fitted with a high-temperature Kanthal Nichrome electric heating coil system, selected for its ability to deliver sustained, uniform heat throughout the cremation cycle while minimising electricity consumption.
The human body charging trolley is manually operated, designed for safe, smooth, and dignified loading of the deceased into the furnace. The furnace door system is supplied with full door automation technology for reliable, consistent sealing and operation. Fresh air blowers with suitably rated motors are supplied and connected via MS pipelines configured to the cremation furnace rating.
On the pollution control side, we supply and install the complete air pollution control train comprising a venturi scrubber with cyclone separator, wash column, and induced draft fan with motor, as well as the water pollution control system — an effluent treatment plant with roots blower and motor. The installation is completed with a 30-metre self-supported stack chimney with all accessories as per Pollution Control Board specifications.
The electrical and control scope covers the main control panel board, equipment control panel board for operating and maintaining all crematorium equipment, and all control switches, temperature indicators, digital meters, and associated wiring throughout the facility.
Electric Crematorium Design and Construction
Our electric crematorium design is built around two core priorities — energy efficiency and long furnace life. The cremation furnace is constructed using premium refractory bricks, linings, and castables that provide outstanding thermal insulation, reducing heat loss and minimising the electricity consumed per cremation cycle. This materials quality also directly extends furnace life, reducing the frequency and cost of refractory repairs over the operational life of the facility.
The double-chamber configuration ensures that gases from the primary cremation chamber are fully processed through the secondary chamber and pollution control train before discharge — delivering consistently clean, low-emission operation that meets CPCB norms and protects surrounding communities.
Electric Crematorium Technical Specifications
Our standard electric crematorium is built to the following operational parameters. The furnace is a double-chamber design with separate primary and secondary combustion chambers. Average cremation time per body is 60 to 90 minutes, with ash available for collection within 60 minutes of cremation completion. Minimum electricity consumption is approximately 300 kWh per cremation, with reduced consumption for back-to-back continuous cremation cycles.
The air pollution control system comprises a cyclone separator with venturi scrubber, wash column, and induced draft fan with motor. The water pollution control system is an effluent treatment plant with roots blower and motor. The stack chimney is a 30-metre self-supported structure designed and erected to Pollution Control Board standards.
Electric Crematorium Services
Enviro Care Engineers provides complete end-to-end services for electric crematoriums from initial project consultation through to long-term operational support. Our service offering covers site assessment and system design, complete equipment supply and installation, operator training to ensure your team can manage the crematorium confidently and safely, and one year of crematorium equipment maintenance following commissioning.
Beyond the initial period, we remain available for scheduled preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown response, and supply of all spare parts, consumables, and accessories required to keep your electric crematorium running reliably year after year. Our service network covers Tamil Nadu and the wider South India region, with capability to deploy teams anywhere in India when required.
Why Choose an Electric Crematorium from Enviro Care Engineers
Our electric crematoriums are designed to deliver consistent, energy-efficient, and environmentally compliant cremation with minimal maintenance demands and a long operational lifespan. The use of high-quality Kanthal Nichrome heating coils and premium refractory construction means our furnaces retain their performance over many years of daily use — reducing total cost of ownership compared to systems built to lower specifications.
Every electric crematorium we install is backed by our full after-sales support commitment — operator training, maintenance contracts, spare parts supply, and responsive breakdown support anywhere in India. We have the experience, the infrastructure, and the track record to be a long-term partner for your institution rather than simply a one-time supplier.
